Rigat Imfeld is not a refugee that had to flee her home country. But I were, she says, if she had not moved to Switzerland fourteen years ago to live with her husband. When the now activist, who experienced the cruelty of the War of Independence as a child, was living in Eritrea, she worked as a teacher and later in the private sector. But there, still, you could feel how the government was trying to drench the economy and therefore its people.
